About the Job
Position Overview:
The Food & Beverage Server is responsible for delivering high-quality service to members and guests in the dining room, bar, banquet, and patio areas. The ideal candidate will anticipate members’ needs, maintain knowledge of menu offerings, and ensure that every dining experience exceeds expectations.

Salary: $17.00/hr + Tip.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service in all dining areas.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
  • Be knowledgeable about menu items, daily specials, wine pairings, and ingredients to make recommendations.
  • Monitor tables and member needs throughout the meal, addressing concerns or requests promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, dining rooms, and workstations.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining and banquet areas for events and private functions.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Uphold and reflect the standards and culture of the country club in all interactions.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality service preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems a plus.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
